Creative Responses to Sustainability: Launch & Roundtable on the Thailand Green Guide

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), through its arts and culture website, culture360.ASEF.org, is proud to announce the launch of the Green Guide for Thailand, the latest edition in the Creative Responses to Sustainability series.

Researched by Creative Migration, this comprehensive guide explores the evolving intersection of art and environmental stewardship in Thailand, mapping key trends, opportunities, and challenges across the sector.

Inside the Guide, you will find:

  • Context & Policy: A snapshot of the global and national frameworks shaping Thailand's cultural and environmental landscape.

  • Creative Interventions: Insights into how arts and culture are being used to address urgent ecological challenges, from water scarcity and pollution to climate change and the loss of traditional knowledge.

  • On-the-Ground Challenges: Obstacles and impediments faced by local arts organisations working in the field.

  • Inspirational Directory: A curated directory of rural and urban organisations leading pioneering creative initiatives.

To mark the release of the guide, Creative Migration and ASEF are hosting a launch event accompanied by a roundtable discussion at Bangkok 1899. The event features a panel of speakers from the mapped organisations, who will share their firsthand experiences and dive deeper into the guide’s core insights.
