Na Projects Presents: The Prom Prap Table: A Food Literacy Dinner #2
Curated by Nammon & Palm | Rooted in Nang Loeng, Pom Prap Sattru Phai
Special performance by Lakhon Chatri Troupe from Nang Loeng
What is food literacy?
At Na Projects, food literacy means more than cooking or eating, it’s about understanding the origins, stories, and significance of what we eat. Through this dinner, we explore Nang Loeng’s rich culinary heritage where royal cuisine, street food and neighborhood wisdom meet.
Curated by Nammon and Palm, each dish is a living archive, carrying flavors, memories and meanings passed down through generations. This isn’t just a meal. It’s a way to learn through taste.
Let the table be your classroom. Let food be your teacher.
Every dish is sourced from or inspired by the people, kitchens, and legacy of Nang Loeng in Pom Prap Sattru Phai: a neighborhood where food is memory and memory is kept alive through taste.
Join us for an evening where taste meets storytelling and sound deepens the experience. Lakhon Chatri is a Thai traditional theatrical performance adapted for royal entertainment, it was later on open to the Thai public to enjoy. Now preserved by Aunt Kanya in Nang Loeng, Lakhon Chatri’s uniqueness can be witnessed here.
